Parents of Milton Junior Eagle Football Players:

Registration for the Milton Junior Eagles Feeder Football program will open to all rising 6th, 7th and 8th grade players in the Milton High School district on Monday, March 4th, 2013.  Thank you for your interest in the program and your commitment to both your son’s development as well as building a quality football program for all grade level players in the Milton High School District. We are pleased to report several upgrades to the program this year as we strengthen our partnership with the Milton HS program.  Here are a few, but certainly not all of the additions/changes to the program for the 2013 season.

Please plan to attend Parent Information meeting on Monday, March 11th at 6:30p.m. at the Milton HS Auxiliary Gym.

Program news for 2013

Board Member Changes:
Please join me in welcoming Joe Sander to our Board as Co-President.  Joe has been involved in our program now for 2 years as an assistant football coach and comes to us with many additional years of experience of coaching football through the AYFA program and other youth sports organizations.  We are very excited to have him on board! With that news, congratulations go out to Randy Watson, former coach and co-President of MJE Football.  Because of his skill, expertise and dedication, Randy has now been named the President of the Milton Touchdown Club!  We wish him well in his new role and look forward to continuing the strengthening of our connection and alignment with our high school program.

Website and Registration:
In an effort to keep parents and players updated on news and information regarding the Milton Jr. Eagles program, we are currently updating our site to a new program hosted by LeagueAthletics.  This site will look familiar to many of you, as it is commonly used in our sporting area.  Please visit us at www.miltonjunioreagles.com for real time information, downloadable waivers, updates, schedules, and more.  The new site will be up and running on March 4th, 2013. We are asking that all participants register through online registration on our website (see Registration page), as this will allow us to have better capabilities for email communication via email blasts, track team numbers and get electronic verification on waivers. You will first need to create a personal User ID and Password that you will use to access the site, so be sure to write these down for future reference. It is important that everyone complete this form online so that we can build our player information database and improve our team communications throughout the year.

At this time, due to additional outside factors, we are not accepting credit card payments.   We would prefer that you bring a check to the Parent Information Meeting to streamline the process or there is the option to mail in a payment to our address listed on the registration receipt.

Volunteers
These positive changes to the program will not happen without the support of parent volunteers.  While the registration form provides options for a few key volunteers, there are many more areas to get involved.  We will discuss opportunities further during the parent meeting and welcome all volunteers. Please put your skills and passion for the program to work by signing up to support Milton Junior Football.
Thank you for your patience, participation and support.  Let’s work together to build a program that we can be proud of.
